WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2017 by engineers Carlos Sena and Felipe Bordoni, ESSolar Empreendimentos em Energia Renovável emerged as a spin-off from PGM Service – Projetos, Gerenciamento e Montagens Industriais, a company with a long history of working on industrial projects both nationally and internationally, to enable its own investment in distributed generation.
Bringing together highly experienced professionals, the company subsequently changed its name to ESSolar Soluções em Energia Renovável to offer technical consulting, engineering, construction management and supervision, operation, maintenance, construction and electromechanical assembly services in the Brazilian market.
Based in Vila Velha/ES, its objectives are to promote and develop renewable energy solutions, especially in distributed and centralized electricity generation projects, as well as energy storage infrastructure and electrical works in general, in order to ensure the energy empowerment of the consumer, their independence from conventional electricity supply options, and the fulfillment of all their needs.

Carlos Sena
MANAGING PARTNER
A founding partner of ESSolar Renewable Energy Solutions, with over twenty-six years of experience in the Brazilian Electricity Sector, he is responsible for the business area. One of the most recognized engineers in Espírito Santo for his work in the energy market, he holds a degree in electrical engineering from CEFET/MG, a master's degree in Control and Automation from UFES, and an MBA in Executive Finance and Investment Analysis from IBMEC-BH. He serves as an invited advisor to the Infrastructure and Energy Council of the Federation of Industries of the State of Espírito Santo and as CEO of the Sun Invest Cooperative for the Promotion of Distributed Mini-Generation.
Felipe Bordoni
MANAGING PARTNER
Founding partner of ESSolar Renewable Energy Solutions, he is responsible for the planning and implementation of projects. A mechanical engineer graduated from PUC-MG, he also holds an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. With 14 (fourteen) years of experience in managing industrial projects in various segments and markets, including the oil and gas and thermoelectric generation sectors, among others.
Vanessa Alves
Civil engineer
Civil engineer graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1997), with extensive experience and solid expertise in structural integrity, calculation of steel structures and composite connections, and coordination of multidisciplinary project teams, having worked at companies such as TECTON Engenharia, CODEME, SOLESA, MCA, EPC Engenharia, TIME NOW, and CONCREMAT. Holds a master's degree in Structural Calculation of Steel-Concrete Composite Connections, Beam-Column and Beam-Beam with Partial Resistance from the School of Engineering at UFMG (2000).
